I am giving this steel seal one star only because it will not let me give it no stars as i think it is very expensive rubbish that did not work and has now made me more problems as most of the steel seal has ended up in the thermostat housing blocking it up and cutting off the supply of coolant to the rest of the engine !I took my empty bottle of steel seal with the receipt back to the shop i bought it from and under the consumers rights act 2015 and got all my money back !
Worked for me.Poured the bottle directly into the top hose (as my car has an expansion tank a d not recommended to pour into there.Ran at idle for 20/30 minutes. Took it for a drive, still misfiring but not as much as before and did not overheat.Cleaned spark plugs - now drives perfect. Amazing stuff.
Didnt work for me and needed 2 bottles
Didn't work. 40 wasted. The "no quibble money back guarantee" requires you to provide:- Proof of problem from a mechanic (Can cost 20 to get!)- Proof it didn't work - from a mechanic (Can cost 20 to get!)- Receipt from authorized dealer (If you don't buy from one, you're stuck!)No quibble!? Ridiculous!!!!!The support team also take days to reply and make it as difficult as possible to make the claim. It's also one claim per person and condition after condition after condition. Just fix your car or scrap it... MUCH easier!
I used this on a friends Ford Galaxy after the garage had said "it's going to cost 2000+ to fix". Followed the instructions on the bottle and started it up (had been over heating within ten minutes before).Steel seal got straight to work from the turn of the key.Sat in the car the whole time watching the temp guage.15 minutes in and the car had not over heated,30 minutes and the car was at temperature,1 hr later and the car still had not over heated or lost any water. After about 1hr 10 minutes I turned the car off and waited till it cooled down.Filled up the water and gave it a quick spin around.Thank you to whoever invented this product!!!A very nice family who could not afford 2000+ just after christmas now have their car back on the road.
